The full question: ‘I am a 35 year old woman who has had many relationships in my life, but never the ‘right one’. I am now getting desperate to have a baby but can’t find someone who I want to be with. My logical mind tells me that it’s crazy to want a baby when I have nobody to help me. Why do I want a baby so badly against all the odds?’

The answer:

I don’t know. And I don’t care. But desperation never works.

So try pretending you don’t want a baby or a boyfriend and you’ll probably get both.

And then you’ll regret it.
